GRAPEVINE, TX: BNSF Logistics, a leading third party logistics provider, today announced the appointment of Jim Craig as its new Chief Marketing Officer.

“Jim’s extensive experience and focus on superior customer service ensures both a smooth transition and a continuation in our expansion on both a domestic and international basis”

Prior to joining BNSF Logistics, Craig served 19 years at Yusen Logistics (formerly NYK Logistics) where he rose from the Vice President of Sales for the Southwest region to Senior Vice President of Corporate Sales and Marketing. Prior to Yusen, he was the Director of Sales for Con-Way Truckload Service. His responsibilities at BNSF Logistics include new business development, sales and marketing.

Craig replaces Frank Armstrong, vice president, Business Development, who is retiring after four years with the company and more than 35 years in the industry.

“Jim’s extensive experience and focus on superior customer service ensures both a smooth transition and a continuation in our expansion on both a domestic and international basis,” said Ray Greer, president, BNSF Logistics. “Jim joins the organization at a period of time of significant growth, and I look forward to working with Jim to capitalize on our multi-modal offering in the marketplace.”

“Leading the business development efforts for a company with global scope and aggressive growth results and expectations is an integral element of my career experience,” Craig said. “Given BNSF Logistics’ incredible resources, service capabilities, and strategic vision, I am excited to be part of this organization and consider this role to be the pinnacle of my nearly 30-year career in logistics.”
