Debenhams launches advertising review with ‘social shopping’ brief
The retailer, which has over 175 stores in the UK, Ireland and Denmark, is poised to contact agencies via the intermediary AAR with a marketing communications brief which is set to be “widened” in scope.
The government department contacted agencies last week in a process being run through the Crown Commercial Service. The pitch is open to shops on the government roster.
Homebrew has handled the account for three years.
During this time, the agency has created ads including “School checker” which highlighted the site’s tool for parents looking for properties near a particular school.
A spokeswoman for Rightmove said: “We haven’t changed our roster for over three years, so as part of a due diligence process we are looking at both our needs and our creative agencies. This review is being handled internally.”
