L’Oréal in second media review in two weeks
Steve’s breakdown: On June 20th we reported “L’Oréal reviews $208m UK and Ireland media” and now today we have L’Oréal reviewing media in India.
Take a look at how the media accounts are doing in other marketing including the USA. We believe there could be more movement.
MUMBAI, India: After a three-year relationship with Maxus India for all its media business, except digital, L’Oreal India is in the process of reviewing its media mandate.
Along with the incumbent agency Maxus, agencies that participated in the pitch include Madison, ZenithOptimedia and Lodestar UM, say industry sources.
Presently, Maxus is responsible for print, television and radio spends for the brand. The account went to Maxus, post a multi-agency pitch, in July 2010. During this transition, industry sources had pegged the business to be in the vicinity of Rs 130 crore – Rs 150 crore.
For the record, L’Oreal India houses brands such as L’Oreal Paris, Garnier, Maybelline, Matrix, Kerastase, etc.
