Super Splash USA jumps right into marketing review
Steve’s breakdown: We’re going to see a lot of summer tourism accounts coming up in review. So if there’s one near you, you might want to check into it. Here’s one in Missouri. The RFP is due October 26th. Here the document.
RAYTOWN, MO: The Raytown Parks and Recreation Department desires to enter into a contract for the design and creation of a marketing plan for Super Splash USA, a full-service seasonal municipal water park owned by the Raytown Parks and Recreation Department, located at 5330 Raytown Road in Raytown, Missouri. The park is a seasonal operation open from the months of May-August and the plan should be tailored accordingly. The marketing plan should include research which is specific to our target audiences including mothers with young children, families and youth, day camps and a media plan, which, when implemented, will allow us to effectively reach area our target audiences who are likely to visit a water park. The plan should attract target audiences to the park while raising awareness of the park’s features and benefits and improving the park’s image/reputation across many audiences.
The Parks Department solicits proposals from results-oriented companies with high-quality experience that have a record of success in developing marketing and communication plans for water parks and family entertainment venues.
The selected organization will be asked to develop a comprehensive marketing plan which will include identifying target markets and key themes, selecting appropriate advertising media and developing a brand identity. The marketing organization will be expected to work very closely with key stakeholders throughout the process including the Raytown Park Board, Parks and Recreation Director and the Aquatics Facilities Manager on the entire campaign.
