Spirits News Latino distiller unveils new premium tequila in US
IRVINE, CA: Tributo Tequila, a Latin distillery located in Mexico, has introduced Tributo a Mi Padre (Tribute to My Father), a premium tequila, at the 6th Annual East LA Meets Napa Premiere Food and Wine Tasting Event in Los Angeles, on July 8.
Tributo a Mi Padre is crafted by Hector Barreto, a Latino entrepreneur who hails from Mexico and ex-head of the US Small Business Administration.
The producer of Tributo claims that it is grown in the generational farmlands of the Barreto family and extracted only from blue agave plants. Tequila Tributo comes in three traditional varieties, Blanco, Reposado and Anejo.
The company said the marketing and distribution plan for this tequila’s actual marketing requires a phased release. The launch program will begin in California and Nevada. The label will offer continued support and presence across the year in certain urban markets.
The distribution of Tributo Tequila in the US will be handled by Innovation Spirits, a spirits brand developer, marketing and sales company focused on the premium and super-premium segments of the industry.
Barreto noted that Tributo A Mi Padre was created as a way of honoring his father’s memory, and a truly well lived life.
