Trouble in Paradise? Accounts won one year ago this week
Steve’s breakdown: Two things:
1) This was a tactic I developed years ago while at Charron Schwartz & Partners. (They had all the ABC News business back in the 90s) Anyway, I used to have the advertising page cut out of the New York Times and copied for the entire staff to read. Many times it included “accounts won” announcements. After filling these pages away for over a year, I thought it would be an interesting to see how all those 1-year-old relationships were doing. You’d be surprised how many of them wanted to talk. I’m not kidding!
2) Now-a-days, I don’t cut up the New York Times because there’s a better source: Access Confidential! They have years of information in their database you can use a thousands different ways to win business. In fact, we believe Access Confidential is the perfect companion to The Ratti Report. You’ll never need another thing!
