Media Account of Carbon Trust up for Grabs
Steve’s breakdown: The Carbon Trust, the not-for-profit organisation set up by the British Government to help businesses reduce their carbon emissions, is holding a review of its UK and international media planning and buying arrangements.
LONDON, UK: The incumbent on the account is UM London, which retained the business the last time the body conducted a
review in 2010.
Since then, the Carbon Trust has developed into an international commercial business and is now selling its services in carbon reduction and sustainability to businesses and governments internationally.
However, the organisation claims that it remains a not-for-profit entity, with all revenues being invested back into the business to support its mission.
The Carbon Trust has issued a tender ahead of a pitch for the account, and it is looking for an agency with international resources as well as experience in planning and buying traditional and digital media in the UK.
