LEAWOOD, KS: CMO, Reports to CEO

Typical duties and responsibilities

1. Produce positive same store sales, profit and guest counts results for all
concepts.

2. Manage the “creative process.” Plan, budget and cost-effectively utilize total
marketing resources.

3. Direct and develop marketing staff to provide marketing and menu support to
company and franchise restaurants.

4. Direct strategic positioning efforts of advertising agencies: brand strategy,
creative development and production, menu/collateral design and copy, and media planning.

5. Develop communications that create team inertia with Strategic Partners to
ensure cooperation between groups.

6. Review break-even/pro-forma data for marketing investments. Analyze
Program results to gauge impact on key financial measures.

Knowledge and Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree required. (Marketing or journalism preference)
Minimum of 10 years retail marketing and/or advertising agency experience with minimum 3 – 5 years in the restaurant industry.
