PITTSBURGH, NJ: American Eagle Outfitters said Wednesday it had named a Kate Spade executive to the position of chief marketing officer.
Kyle Andrew will take over at the South Side-based company as executive vice president and CMO on June 6. She’ll report to CEO Jay Schottenstein.
Andrew became global brand marketing chief of Kate Spade in 2008 and before that she worked in senior management positions for Gap Marketing and Kenneth Cole Productions.
It’s the second big hire for American Eagle (NYSE: AEO) this month. In early May, the retailer announced it had hired Peter Z. Horvath as chief global commercial and administrative officer.
