Steve’s breakdown: Look, it’s a pharma company for animals. Luckily they don’t have the regulatory restrictions the people pharma folks have so if you want to break into the business, here’s a great starting point.

LENEXA, KS: Ceva Animal Health today announced that Steve Hoffman, a 17-year veteran of the animal health business, has joined the company as Director of Marketing, Companion Animals. Hoffman reports to Brad Butler, Ceva’s Chief Operations Officer.

“Steve has an established track record of successful product launches and extensive brand management experience. He is a strong leader and his expertise and contacts in the industry will be invaluable as we continue to grow,” said Craig Wallace, Chief Executive Officer of Ceva’s North American Zone.

Hoffman will have responsibility for the strategic planning and execution of all companion animal health products and related campaigns and management of the companion animal marketing team.
