NASHVILLE, TN: Bridgestone Americas has hired Kimberly Lang, a marketing expert with VF Corp., to be director of marketing for Firestone Farm Tires, the company’s agricultural tire division.

In this role, Ms. Lang will create and implement Firestone agricultural brand’s marketing vision, Bridgestone said, while growing its product portfolio, including farm tires and agricultural rubber tracks.

“Kimberly is a proven marketing strategist who has delivered great results for a number of growing brands in the U.S. She is the right person to lead the iconic Firestone Farm Tires brand as we double down on meeting the evolving needs of today’s farmers,” said Tony Orlando, president, agricultural tires, U.S. & Canada for Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations.

“This is a critical time for the agricultural industry, and we remain deeply committed to investing in talent, technologies and tools to grow our customers’ businesses and advance the Firestone brand.”

Ms. Lang has 20 years of marketing experience in consumer packaged goods, technology marketing and marketing communications, the Nashville-based tire maker said. She most recently was marketing director for the Imagewear division of VF Corp. where she developed the marketing, business and retail strategies for Bulwark Protective Apparel.

Her previous employment also includes being marketing director for Mars Inc. and various marketing roles at H.J. Heinz Co.

Ms. Lang earned a bachelor’s degree in education and English from Vanderbilt University and an MBA in marketing and strategy from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business.
