New brand president at Carvel

ATLANTA, GA: FOCUS Brands Inc. hired Scott Colwell as brand president for its Carvel Ice Cream chain.
Colwell recently was chief marketing officer at Bruegger’s Enterprises Inc. Prior, he served in various executive roles at Dunkin’ Brands Inc., Bob Evans Farms Inc. and Friendly’s Ice Cream Corp.
FOCUS has tasked him with developing brand strategies for Carvel.
Atlanta-based FOCUS also is the franchiser for Cinnabon, Schlotzsky’s, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Auntie Anne’s and Seattle’s Best Coffee on military bases and in certain international markets.
