Steve’s breakdown: Rich Smith, the new CMO, comes from the financial sector so if that’s your bag, it might be a good fit to help him with this new challenge.

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA: Recovery Centers of America (RCA), the fastest-growing provider of inpatient and outpatient drug and alcohol treatment programs in the United States, announced it has appointed Rich Smith as the company’s Chief Marketing Officer.

Smith brings to RCA over 25 years of experience leading marketing teams, largely within mortgage, banking, insurance, and financial organizations including Ditech Financial LLC, where he most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer, leading the brand’s re-launch, building the company’s brand position to be the second highest among independent mortgage companies, and achieving the third highest rank on the J.D.
