Steve’s breakdown: The featured video is a spot from 2007 but I don’t think the everyday consumer is Reynold’s main target anymore. And judging by the new guys credentials, they are going to go with digital marketing in a big way.
ATLANTA, IN: A former marketing leader for companies such as TinderBox and ExactTarget has landed a position with an agricultural equipment supplier in northern Hamilton County. Mitch Frazier has joined Atlanta-based Reynolds Farm Equipment as its new chief marketing and innovation officer.
In his new role, Frazier will lead the company’s marketing efforts as well as its growing eCommerce business. Reynolds says Frazier will also lead digital transformation projects at the company’s seven retail locations. In a press release, President Gary Reynolds said Frazier brings “proven strength and leadership” to guide the company’s growth.
“Gary and the Reynolds team have built a powerful portfolio of products and offerings to meet the needs of buyers across nearly every facet of the economy – from homeowners to commercial landscapers to America’s farmers,” said Frazier. “Joining the Reynolds team provides a unique opportunity to unite my passions for marketing, innovation and rural development to fuel the growth of a great company and a great team.”
Frazier joins Reynolds after serving as vice president of marketing at Indianapolis-based TinderBox. He also spent five years at ExactTarget in various marketing leadership roles, including founding the company’s investor relations program prior to its initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange.
