Canada Calls: There’s a new Yum! marketing head

VAUGHAN, Canada: David Vivenes has been named the new chief marketing officer at Yum! Restaurants Canada, owner of the KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell brands.

Mr. Vivenes previously led the KFC brand as senior marketing director.

Before joining Yum! last year, Mr. Vivenes worked in senior marketing roles at Cadbury, Coca-Cola and Kraft.

“David brings strategic thought leadership, consumer passion and excellent brand building insights,” said Sabir Sami, Yum! Canada’s president. “He has the vision and drive to help us rebuild our brands in Canada.”

Mr. Vivenes replaces Dan Howe, who left the company in July. Yum! Restaurants Canada has more than 1,000 restaurants across Canada.
