Vobok tunes in new CMO

Steve’s breakdown: The new CMO, Alan Daniels, is a former SVP, marketing of Sony Pictures Television. The company is describes as a “voice share” where you can share your passion, feelings and emotions in your own voice and let your family, friends, fans and followers hear what you have to say – anytime, and from anywhere.

MENLO PARK, CA: Alan Daniels was named chief marketing officer at Vobok, the developer of an app that allows users to share 30-second clips of their voice on social networks. He will lead Vobok’s initiative to introduce entertainment brands and personalities to the advantage of using their voice on social networks.

Daniels, who has 20 years of media experience, previously was senior VP of marketing and distribution planning at Sony Pictures Television. He will also help Vobok with its corporate marketing strategy, as well as assist upcoming television series and movies extend their reach on social media platforms.
