Abbott with two film projects in review

Abbott with two film projects in review

Steve’s breakdown: We’ve got two projects in one post here and both are with Abbott and both are due January 9, 2013. Seems something is up at Abbott. Here are the briefs:

ABBOTT PARK, IL: Abbott’s tag line is A Promise for Life. It is a statement that describes what they believe in, what they value, and what they strive to deliver in their day-to-day work. Their Promise challenges them to continually improve and inspires them to always aim higher. Abbot is looking for short films from the GLOBAL Poptent community that underscores their own promise. They want to hear authentic stories of the promises you make and how you keep them.

The current markets they are targeting are:

• US • Brazil • Russia • China • India • Mexico • UK • France • Germany • Japan

It is important to note that they are looking for these countries, cultures and communities to be represented in your videos specifically. You have :30-:90 seconds to tell your story and your videos will be used primarily online. Make sure to read the creative brief and assignment guidelines for all of the details before you get started.

DEADLINE: January 9th, 2013

PRINCETON, NJ: Abbott is celebrating what others do around the globe to give back and has turned to the Poptent community to tell the story of how people integrate giving into their daily lives. Don’t think of this like a traditional commercial. Instead, Abbott would like to see emotional, humorous, and/or sentimental short films that illustrate stories of giving back. Remember, they are looking for stories from across the globe.

The current markets they are targeting are:

• US • Brazil • Russia • China • India • Mexico • UK • France • Germany • Japan

It is important to note that they are looking for these countries, cultures and communities to be represented in your videos specifically. Videos should be between :30 and :90 seconds and will be used primarily online. Make sure to read the creative brief and assignment guidelines carefully before you begin crafting your concepts.
