UNIONDALE, NY: The Long Island Power Authority hereby solicits proposals from Advertising Agencies, Consultants and individuals in response to this Request for Proposals to provide the Authority and its subsidiary, LIPA with Advertising and Information Services. The Authority expects to retain no more than one firm to provide these services.

As an guide, here’s an overview of work provided by their ad agency in 2011

Print advertising:
22 new ads
Revised 9 existing ads
1 new Yellow Pages ad
Reformatted (and edited) as required when supporting local weekly runs
o    Dependent on media selection can require as many at 18 different sizes
o    Locals utilized 5 to 8 times per year

Additional Print Production:
New truck signage consistent with new Customer campaign
Updated flyers and brochures
Created slider graphics for LIPA website as requested

Electronic creative:
Create and produced 6 new, :30 TV spots
Edited :30 to :15 for use as online pre-rolls
Created and produced 12 new radio spots
Re-script/ re-recording 3 previous radio spots

Other production work:
Creation of Web banner ads to complement balanced billing, direct pay, efficiency products, CEP, and Economic Development campaigns
Created and produced LIPA special website informational/promotional videos
Creation the LIPA interactive house
Admail graphics for Newsday admail opportunities

Additional work included media research, buying and trafficking, assistance with marketing plans and promotions
