GE is an equal opportunity employer, offering a great work environment, challenging career opportunities, professional training and competitive compensation.The Chief Marketing Officer, MR leads marketing globally and is responsible for setting, communicating, and delivering a growth and marketing strategy across the global MR business. This includes developing deep qualitative & quantitative insights about the needs, wants and performance of customers, identifying keys to our success, aligning strategy execution across all geographies and driving innovation.
•Together with the CEO of MR, the CMO must develop and implement a coherent growth strategy for the MR business, comprising an overarching Vision, Mission and Purpose and key investment priorities.
•Lead and coordinate strategic planning processes (known as blueprint) for the MR business.
•Operate the necessary supporting functions to enable the success of MR marketing including Marketing communications, Market and competitive analysis and the development of a digital strategy.
•Define and develop the global marketing plan for MR, including value proposition, positioning, segmentation, marketing mix, etc., and aligning marketing execution across all geographies and MR market segments.
•Ensure regional/operational plans & executions are in alignment with global marketing plan.
•Work closely with Business Development on acquisition exploration and growth potential.
•Gain customer insights, understand customer wants, needs and problems; evaluate the portfolio versus customer needs and competitive actions to identify opportunities.
•Leverage relationships to raise the GEHC, HCS, and MR profiles externally.
•Create and drive global segmentation strategy and processes to target stronger value propositions for the MR market segments.
•Drive strong execution around key marketing processes including NPI, Lifecycle, commercialization, etc.
•Develop and lead team of MR marketing professionals.
•Develop and manage processes and programs to increase customer awareness, preference and purchase intent (e.g., demand generation campaigns)
•Partner with commercial leaders to drive stronger commercialization plans
•Partner and collaborate with other GE P&Ls, businesses, and functions to identify points of intersection for new business and market opportunities that deliver optimal value.
•Drive functional excellence through leadership, talent development, coaching and common goals
•Synthesize with business analysis our global performance (share, orders, revenue, CM, etc.)
•Assess portfolio competitiveness globally across regions and segments, current and future anticipated state
•Actively solicit and share competitive intelligence
•Support regional sales force business execution and growth objectives via training materials and tools
•Own global trade shows, show sites and customer visits
•Attract, manage, develop and retain world-class marketing talent across the P&L.
•Supports the P&L leader in representing the business in various forums
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Biosciences, or equivalent (defined as an Associates Degree and at least 15 years experience in healthcare, MR industry)
•10+ years marketing leadership experience
•5+ years of direct people management experience
•Excellent oral and written communications skill
•Healthcare product/industry acumen
•Strong analytical and process skills
•Deep expertise in market and customer insights, product commercialization and branding
•Proven strategic vision and ability to think globally and innovatively about the business and portfolio
•Leadership skills to lead teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy
•Customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions
•Proven ability to influence at all levels of the organization

1. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
2. Must be willing to work in our Waukesha, Wisconsin facility full-time
