The role will provide functional leadership for Marketing team members throughout the global Ultrasound business. | |
-Provide functional leadership to small direct report team and extended indirect reporting team across Ultrasound. Drive functional excellence & development through leadership, goals and coaching -Contribute required elements and drive the creation and messaging of the overall business strategy via the GE Growth Playbook/Blueprint and other relevant processes -Work closely with Business Development on acquisition exploration and growth potential – Continually evaluate the product portfolio versus customer needs and competitive actions to identify opportunities for growth -Develop global marketing plan (with input from stakeholders), and value proposition for GE Ultrasound -Partner with Ultrasound segment and regional teams for strategy development -Identify points of intersection and create collaboration with other GE P&Ls and businesses -Aggregate regional segmentation schemes into a global segmentation scheme -Ensure regional/operational plans & execution is in accordance with stated global marketing plan (value proposition, positioning, marketing mix, etc.) |

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering, or equivalent (defined as an Associates Degree and at least 15 years experience in healthcare capital equipment or medical devices product marketing) 2. 10 years experience in product marketing (in addition to a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Engineering) 3. 3 years experience in Marketing leadership with direct reports 4. Excellent oral and written communications skills |
