SCOTTSDALE, AR: GoDaddy Inc. GDDY, +1.00% the world’s largest technology provider dedicated to small businesses, has launched a global brand agency request for proposal (RFP) to help promote and personalize the GoDaddy brand globally.

This next phase in GoDaddy’s marketing strategy will fuel brand messaging globally while leveraging its vast small business insights to offer customers targeted, timely messaging through a variety of personalized channels. The RFP process is driven by new Chief Marketing Officer Phil Bienert, who stepped into the role in March after joining the company nearly two years ago as Executive Vice President of Digital Commerce. “We’re searching for a brand marketing partner, an ‘agency-of-record’ to help make the GoDaddy brand globally scalable and locally relevant in ways that tell entrepreneurs and small business owners everywhere exactly ‘how’ we can help them grow their businesses,” Bienert said.

Under CEO Blake Irving, a technology product veteran, GoDaddy has grown its global footprint over the past 19 months and is serving customers in 37 countries, in 17 languages.

“We’re ready to push beyond broad domestic campaigns and leverage our small business data platform as a key ingredient in our global brand marketing,” Bienert said. “Our personalized, data-driven approach presents a significant opportunity to engage audiences with targeted messages at key points in their digital journey, no matter where in the world they live,” Bienert said.

Bienert looks to have the new global brand marketing agency in place by late summer, in order to launch new diversified campaigns before year’s end.
