Can you help The Container Store tackle smaller markets?

Steve’s breakdown: We love it when companies serve up new business leads every January when speaking about the new year. We’ve told you about a number of them already. The plan at the Container Store is to spread into smaller markets and we all know they will need some help with that on the marketing side.

COPPELL, TX: Now that it’s gained national exposure by penetrating the nation’s biggest cities, The Container Store has set its sites on smaller markets like Indiana and Charlotte, “where the real estate costs are about half,” but where the sales generated rival that of stores in large markets, Kip Tindell, CEO of the storage and organization chain, told Forbes.

“These people like us as much as they do in New York or Los Angeles, and people will come from all over the state” to shop at a Container Store, he said.  The retailer plans for about seven store openings this year.
