PALO ALTO, CA: DudaMobile is seeking a results-driven VP Marketing / CMO with significant experience executing brand building initiatives, driving acquisition and conversion marketing programs and leading a top marketing team. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of creativity and analytical skills, sound marketing experience, keen understanding of SMB customers, good team management skills and razor sharp business senses. The successful marketing leader will combine an exceptional instinct for building mindshare with user audiences with the ability to apply sound marketing programs to build an active, loyal user base and sustained awareness for Dudamobile’s brand. The successful candidate will contribute to DudaMobile’s strategic direction and


  • Reshape DudaMobile’s brand, product positioning and market messaging based on an expanded set of products being launched in 2014
  • Develop, implement and scale marketing campaigns that accelerate acquisition, increase conversion to paid subscribers and retain customers
  • Own all marketing strategy in the context of Dudamobile’s business objectives, but also contribute to business strategy, working with senior management and the board
  • Build company awareness through press, analyst, web site, blog, social media, and paid media channels
  • Lead co-marketing initiatives with key DudaMobile partners (e.g., Google, GoDaddy, AT&T, Yahoo)
  • Support sales efforts with marketing collateral, go-to-market programs, webinars, customer references and other online content
  • Develop marketing content to educate SMBs on value proposition of marketing on smartphones, tablet devices and other internet-connected platforms
  • Manage a 10 person marketing team; continue to improve the team’s productivity and passion for building the Duda business


  • Experience leading a company through a major (re)branding initiative, working with internal and external resources on brand identity, positioning and messaging
  • Track record executing demand generation and engagement marketing programs at scale across various online channels (SEM, SEO, content marketing, affiliate, display ad, retargeting)
  • Experience leading a 10+ person marketing teams, while still maintaining a ‘hands on’ approach to marketing
  • Experience building marketing programs in Asia and Europe, particularly launching new country markets
  • Background serving as member of a senior team and leading strategic marketing initiatives
  • Track record executing marketing campaigns that generate ROI, know how to measure marketing ROI and apply other metrics
  • Expertise in mobile, SMB and local marketing a plus, but not required
