The City of Sydney Ad Review
SYDNEY, Australia: The City of Sydney has launched a pitch for its advertising & media account.
The Council has put out a tender to find an agency to lead its online and above the line ad work for a three year term, with the option of another two.
Sydney-based agency Leonard Holt Robb is the incumbent.
The successful agency will be tasked with leading the City of Sydney’s campaign ads for events, programs and initiatives, as well as public notice and development application advertisements.
This will involve planning across multiple media platforms, including digital, creative and production services, plus post campaign reporting. The closing date for submissions is 30 July.
Meanwhile, the City of Sydney confirmed that it’s still mulling over a decision on an agency for its creative duties for the city’s renowned New Year’s Eve celebrations.
In May, B&T exclusively revealed the names of the six agencies in the running for the NYE gig. The Council confirmed the current incumbent, Imagination Australia, is facing competition to retain the work from five other agencies looking to win the new three year contract spanning 2014 to 2016 events. This list includes The Projects, Accolade Communications, AGB Events, George P Johnson, and Michael Cassel Group.
